Environmental protection both inside and outside the factory and the security and hygiene on the job, are fundamental parts of Silitex's activities.
In 2004, Silitex has its own environmental declaration and its target is to illustrate how is possible to obtain important results towards a more and more compatibility of chemical production with environmental security.

These are Silitex's targets about ecology and environmental impact:

• respect laws and dispositions in force
• Prevent health injuries of its own workers, to its collaborators, customers and of the local community.
• Amplify and ameliorate the research, the planning and the production of new molecules, chemical technology and productive systems that could prevent or reduce the impact of its own activities and products on the environment.
• Cooperate with other chemical companies, with authorities and local community to individuate all the necessary steps for minimize the environmental impact and the risks on the health of productive activities.
